Anyone bought a copy of the Donny game yet? Just got back from the shop and decided to watch the game. All was going well until the action started, the problem being that the moving images are very blurred and juddery. I wonder if there is a problem with all of the discs our if I've got a dud.

Looks OK to me so far....

On the back cover it says, 'Match Series is the ultimate way to enjoy the action from the 2011/12 season."

What? More than going to the game?

Yours isn't blurry when the action is moving then?

A bit blurry. It's way above VHS quality, though, and a bit below HD quality. I'd be interested in knowing what others think. Maybe I've just become used to it.

It's only really notable when the action is moving fast. When a long ball is kicked and the camera pans, it's pretty poor.

And there are no scratches dust etc.

If it's only in certain contexts, then it is the camera quality and not a faulty DVD. By the way, I got more of a sense of what you describe watching the fast-paced quality of the highlights of the Spurs match on the DVD.

But aren't the camera shots the same as those used by the BBC? There weren't problems with their broadcast.

Just finished watching it btw. Still get a lump in my throat when Noone passes thru to Buckley and that glorious winner is unleashed. :)

Took my one back to the shop as the Spurs section was unwatchable ... Bad sound, colour separation ... Blurry. The Donny game a little better.
My replacement not really any better .. Like a bootleg VHS ...

The audio on the Spurs match footage is definitely faulty. Keep hearing Kazenga 'Loo-er Loo-er' being mentioned.

Oh dear. It seems like a production problem to me. Don't get me wrong,I enjoyed watching the Donny game again but the DVD seems very unprofessional.
