With this ban now in place, is there any way that anyone could really justify holding such a major global sporting event as a World Cup or Olympics there?
i'm guessing none of the countries are at the finals, and most on the international naughty list, so FIFA wouldn't bat a eye lid. more tricky for IOC though.

It's OK the athletes & officials can go but forget it for spectators.

I'm waiting for Trump and co to ban the LA Paralympics because they think they are too 'woke' to be deemed as proper sport.

Maybe MLS sides or Americans will do better but most likely MLS won't and American Olympic athletes already do pretty well.

Just when you thought Trump couldn't get any weirder with what hes doing....

Has to be said, though, that eyebrow raise is quite something. Sean Connery-esque.

They are a weird bunch. A few things I've noticed recently:

This 'big BEAUTIFUL bill' all the Republicans keep banging on about – not just Trump, although it's his kind of language. What's beautiful about it? Isn't it just, y'know, a bill?

The obsession with Autopen. I guess that's what Trump is trying to prove when he signs his name on a document and then holds it up and shows everyone like a five-year-old who has just done their first picture in Reception class. The funny thing is, a half-cognitive Biden probably had more idea about what we being signed with the autopen than Trump has with most of the stuff he puts his mark on. I've seen numerous clips of him asking what he was signing.

Obvious deflections when they don't want to answer a question or (clearly) don't know the answer. Such as: "You'd need to ask [insert moron's name here], that's their responsibility. I wouldn't want to speak out of turn." I swear sometimes if you asked what the weather was like outside, he's probably tell you to ask the transportation guy, Pete Hegseth or Pam Bondi...

The other thing I noticed is that, unless I missed it, Farage is being VERY quiet when it comes to the antics of his mate in the Oval Office.

Yet another world leader who, upon meeting him, secretly (or maybe not) thinks Trump is a monumental bellend.
In years to come history will ask how did this idiot come to be in charge of one of the most powerful countries on earth, and How was he allowed to carry on as long as he did.

And the answer - no one was brave enough to stand up and take him on, or even ignore him

TWICE!

They voted him out and then decided that it would be a good idea to get him BACK :lolol:
