Seriously though, I think that would probably be top of my list. Thankfully I am easing off but that nice man from Prague and a few other music threads keep me popping back. I seem to be able to take or leave discussion about the games these days.

im giving up nsc as the majority of posts now seem to be stupid f***ing poyet out bolox and "x" player is shit. if they/you had/have been to the games you would see that we are moving forward. plus the rest of the threads are now shit on here, was a lot better a while ago. Whats wrong with supporting the team or f***ing of to watch man u on tv if you dont like it ?. Good bye pissed off internet people

Im currently giving up Alcohol for the whole month and was thinking about keeping it going for Lent, I think I might need a beer before Easter so I'll probably do something easy like Chocolate seeing as I dont eat much of that anyway.

It's a big one for the M Ball this year. I thought for a while of believing for 40 days or so, of that big chap upstairs with the beard and gowns and enormous, changeable rulebook that most only look at and follow the pages that make their lives better. But i went against that as i'd probably have to go to that cold building with the spires and the odd chap droning on about sheep and angels and magical boys. So instead i thought i might turn to the dark side, dress as Keifer Sutherland, sharpen a tooth or two, hang upside down a lot, break a few necks, listen to cockrock, do some chicks right in whilst i gorge on their throats. But then i remembered i am mostly an early-morning riser and like watching the sun float up and not many people being around and that i am generally afraid of the dark and would be even with superhuman strength and a burning desire to bring suffering to those who failed to see me coming and don't know about my weaknesses to holy water and children with the devil's eyes who i know will cycle me down stairwells when i'm changing a lightbulb. So, instead of either of those i've decided to be as middleground as possible. To be uninsulting and uninteresting for 40 long days. I will neither be erect or limp, but somewhere inbetween. I'll be a controlled semi, just enough blood pumping to keep me alive, but never enough to send me anywhere or tire me with excitement. I'm going to buy popular things and go to the most-used restaurants and make sure all clothes i wear are made in China by the underpaid and read the Sun and Mirror at the same time so i'm not allied to anything but poor journalism and topless women worthy of 30 words or less to describe them and their interests and wishes. I'll have my hair in an unnameable style that no one wants to copy and walk up and down Oxford Street necking coffees and exhuming no delusions of grandeur and mentioning my favourite Oasis songs and lyrics. I'll be silent and ordinary and unfoolish and unnoticeable and only have thoughts of tv pages and buses turning up on time and people never being alarmed or enthused in my company.
When does Lent start? Or has this comment signalled that it already obviously has?
