Have to say, dog owners here (who mostly seem to carry their dogs in bags) seem quite disciplined, otherwise, they could risk meeting SuperVaclav.

I think it's been mentioned in another thread, but it IS a problem that's worse up north. I have travelled the canal system throughout the country, and from about B'ham upwards it gets noticably worse on the towpaths. Up here in Cheshire it is a big problem.
