Royals swoop for Convey

Reading have signed American international winger Bobby Convey, 21, from DC United for an undisclosed fee.
"We expect Bobby to be one of Europe's strongest left-sided players and a force behind our drive to promotion," football director Nicky Hammond said.

"His first touch, pace, leadership - everything we see in Bobby - says he'll have a specatular career as a Royal.

"He has had success at the highest level at an early age and still shows potential," he told the club website.

A: Not very often because they both played left wing!!

Thought I was probably setting myself up there (memory isn't what it used to be).

For some reason, my dominant memory of Brooker was him playing on the right with Jones on the left wing, but of course Hart on the right and Brooker on the left was more common.

Anyway, he's versatile enough to play on either wing (and fail to make a tackle on both wings).
