I would love to live alone and be boss of my own empire and porn collection (largely granny porn), having the occasional fag whenever I wanted to, feet up on the coffee table with football or back-to-back Bourne films on the box and a beer in hand. As it us I've got to collude in the illusion of being a vaguely functioning family man in a household full of women. You only get one shot at this life - my advice - be true to yourself and live alone. Take action now!

When I first read the question, my first instinct was an obvious "YES" but it does depend on many circumstances.

Is someone living on their own more likely to watch adult material online than someone living with their parents/family for example?

I think it does.

It may even extend to being in the house alone as I found one morning. I was staring listlessly out the window when a magpie fluttered into view, and I was almost overcome by a strong desire to rape it. Never have I had such urges when not in just my own company. Were it not for the postman at that moment knocking on the door to hand me a parcel and break my solitude I dread to think what would have happened.

After growing up in a household of 12 people, as soon as I had enough bus fare and was old enough I left.
I lived alone, except for the occassional overnight company of females or drunken friends unconsiously sprawled on the floor, for a good 12 years.
Then the lady who became my Mrs moved in and that took some getting used to, I can tell you.
I had a sysytem of cooking large amounts on the weekends and freezing them or refridgerating them and making 5 packed lunches for work, Mon to Fri.
I went to the laundry every Thursday after work which was near the local so I could supp while I waited.
I went to the gym Mon, Wed and Fri straight from work.
All meals that were cooked and stored were reheated or microwaved, I ate off paper waxed plates with plastic knives and forks which all went straight in the bin so very little washing up and straight to the pub in quick time.
I paid my younger sister to pop in 2 x a week to tidy the place, it was a 1 bedroom flat so didn't take long.
It was great and when delectable company came back and I would receive compliments on the state of the place and how surprising it was to see a bloke could cope so well, I think it tipped the balnce on a few occassions, nudge nudge.
Now in a different country with the Mrs, three kids, the eldest's boyfriend, 2 x cats and a dog, I often refect back to those days with longing.
Abolutely nothing wrong with living alone mate.

Or fussy

Lived alone for 25 years or so until last October and got married in January. Living alone does not mean you can't have relationships you know! Spent 5 years batting between Birmingham and Norfolk till it fell apart have had a few FB's over the years.

What an odd question. I have lived alone, with friends and with girlfriends. I would say they are all good. To assume someone is a pervert because they live on their jack is wildly naive. Unless of course they **** dogs and eat their own sexwee, in which case then the answer is yes.
