2 good examples from me:

1) being in California a few months ago and in the queue for a rollercoaster, I heard two English guys talking about football and saying how Brighton have one of the best forums in North Stand Chat!! - very surreal.

2) being threatened by an ex boyfriend of an ex top of the pops presenter for posting something nasty about this celebrity on NSC!!

It never fails to shock me how big NSC has now become, especially as it seems all the players read it now and no doubt post on it as well!

Don't forget - he's had it tough too: for about two weeks after he started posting on NSC, he elicited a huge amount of sympathy from (mainly female) posters for mentioning that he'd had a sister who'd died...until admitting after a while that he'd made the whole thing up. It's not all been Chinawhites and benchthrusts the whole time.
