I like what Bloom has said about taking time to get the right man. In all likelihood the next guy WILL be the manager that leads us into Falmer.

If I was Bloom I'd want to safeguard my investment. Slade did a job in keeping us up and promotion isn't really the issue for this season, it's about getting that unity back at the club and playing as a proper team. I think the club needs a personality manager who commands immediate and total respect.

So Slade thought Tim Breacker would help - he's right, he would have done but chose Charlton over us and, right now (and that's all that counts in the modern game) they're the place to be - a team on the up again and likely to be playing in the Championship next season.

As for Bloom, he's the third generation of Albion board members so hardly coming to the party wet behind the ears - I'm sure his old man has given him plenty of advice.

As a fan I think Bloom's been great - he's bankrolling the stadium, he's given Slade a fair crack of the whip but has acted before the season's became a total write-off. Slade leaves the club in a better position that when he found it and has a successful fire-fighting job on his CV. The only losers right now are Booker and White.

Spot on.

I don't think that Tony Bloom has EVER managed an organisation that employs a wide range of people.

Not quite sure what on earth that's got to do with anything, or what you are implying?

Bloom is basically bankrolling our Stadium, having saved the Falmer Project (there was no way DK and Perry could get the Finance together.)

Falmer was dead without Bloom - Knight has gone, get over it.

Whether he imploys 10 people, 100 or a thousand, what difference does that make - in his mind we were going nowhere under Slade, he sacked him and we move on.

Slade was Knight's choice, but having kept us up, he (Bloom) had to give him the job. Slade had some bad luck with injuries, but results speak for themselves.

Sure, we'd all now like a period of stability, and let's hope that in 18 months time when we play at Falmer te new Manager appointed this/next week will be in charge.

I am 100% sure our Chairman knows exactly what he's doing.
