Does anyone still eat tripe these days?

Tripe and Pea-wet. From a stall in Bolton . Threw it in the gutter.

Pea wet is cold mushy pea juice. They love it on chips. I don't. Or tripe.

I like tripe and onions, I'm a real omnivore, I will eat nearly anything,sweetbreads, heart, kidney, I've even eaten lites(lungs), but they are an acquired taste to be honest. My least favourite of all the yucky foodstuff was sheeps eye balls, don't think they will catch on here any time soon. When I was a kid and money was hard to come by, my Mum would get an Ox heart cheap from the butchers, and we would have that as a Sunday roast, I preferred it to everything except roast lamb

If tripe is a legitimate foodstuff then why not try curried cows arseoles or battered udders i wonder. Is there any part of a cow that isnt eaten oop north?

Isn't that what gets put into McDonald's/Burger King burgers...

I have had tripe in France and it's delicious.
