Does anyone remember the broadcast from the Swansea kid about 10-12 years ago

With the potential up-coming match against Swansea, (I know, it may be Arsenal), I was thinking how well and how far Swansea had come when I recalled listening to a recording on NSC that I think was posted around 2001/2002. It was a recording/interview(?) of a young Swansea supporter who was really upset about the possibility of the Swans going out of existence. (Sound familiar?)

As most of that area where he lived strongly supported rugby, it sounded as if he took a lof stick at school etc as he supported football. Fair play to him though, he carried on supporting the team that he loved. However, he was devastated that his beloved "Swans" might not last much longer and was pleading for anyone to support them. It was one of the most emotional things I've heard, and coming so soon after our own problems, had even more impact.

Anyone else remember this?

If you're going to mention him, at least get his name right.

If we are going down a Swansea memory lane, here's a tale of the greatest parking space, ever.
Oh yes you read that right, a parking space anecdote, shut the front door.

T'was a lovely summers day...

I guess it was the first game of the season, so off we headed to Vetch Field.
The M4 was more of a mess than usual, making us already 10 or so minutes late.

Being the driver I said to the chaps, I'd drop them off at the turnstile and then head off for a parking space, no point us all missing the first half.

As we arrived at the turnstile, there was 1 parking space, I assume a police car had been there, or something.

It being a narrow street, I was able to enter and leave Wales only ever setting my right foot on the floor, outside of Vetch Field.

I know I know it's a cool story, bro.

In rehab
I would be gutted if we ended up with Swansea.
