What? I'm not talking about the bleeding Kicham Inn, I'm talking about the bleeding "I Go Inn".
If no-ones interested in it then I'll Kichit down to the tip.

A lorry driver who took a wrong turning down a narrow country lane found a pub sign for a 'Red Lion' on the roof of his cab when he got back to his depot

No me neither. Just a crap story I think. And as for this sign being a part of Brighton History, It's just a crappy pub sign from a pretty crappily named pub, hardly a founding stone of The Pavillion.

Some of those pictorial boards are worth a lot of money to collectors. Some go for £400-500.

If its the one with the boat on it alas its worth very little.

Brighton used to have a Steam Inn as well (it's now the Uni Chaplaincy at Moulsecoomb) and better yet, the old punk pub at the bottom of Queen's Road, The Whippet Inn.
