Chelsea away lost 4-0 in the FA cup replay, 1965 I think, went on a coach from Worthing, it was full when we got there and could not get in at first, then some dads managed to 'open' a gate at back of the shed and we all
Got in, it was packed, did not really see a thing at the back, but great experience for a youngster.

Mine too. Was behind one of the goals and I swear Burns let one in through his legs. Big experience going to Stanford Bridge at that time for one brought up watching third and fourth division matches.

JWL . 31 years after my first game at the Goldstone.

November 2000, Aldershot 2, Albion 6. The one when the FDM caught the ball and stepped back over the line, then got a bit upset when the goal was given

He also did that at home against Hartlepool - wasn’t aware he did it twice! :lolol:

Brighton factually.....
Jan 2nd 1982, FA Cup 3rd Round, Barnet 0-0 Brighton

I used to work in hampstead garden suburbs and worked with someone who went to that as an Arsenal fan and said it kicked off all day, and took great pride in telling me he hit "one of you gay *****" with a plank of wood over the head when they weren't looking.

horrible man

and the result?

Mine was a League Cup night match in Sept 76 (had to google the date)

We were division 3 and West Bromwich Albion were 1st division

A fabulous 0-2 with Wardy scoring 2

Fantastic memories and if anyone can find a video of the goals you’d make an old man very happy!

Both of Ward's goals that night are shown here. 0:58 onwards:

Mine was also Brentford away in 1987. Went with three mates. We were 15. Great memories of that goal. We also did t next round at Northampton.

Amazing. Your post rekindled a deeply buried & forgotten memory that I also went to Northampton!! Must have been the Euphoria of Nels’ goal.

horrible man

I remember post match that there was a kick off with what was rumoured to be a mob of Arsenal/Spurs who did not have tickets to their own game. All very exciting to a 16 year old with alcohol in his system and no adults in tow, and what felt like a long way from home :)

There's the possibility it was THE Peterborough game.

It might have been Hull, same season ?
I doubt it was THE Kingstonian game.

I think I've only done 2 (excluding the semi final at Wembley a couple of years ago).

v Plymouth in the Zenith cup where we won on penalties.
v Liverpool in the FA cup where we drew 2-2

I'm not entirely sure which one happened first.

I was also one of the famous 48 who attended that match.

FA Cup - West Ham 2007 lost 3-0. It was good to see Zamora once again

League Cup - Northampton 2010 - Lost 2-0. Poke in goal says it all.

Spurs away, Chippie scored a great free kick at the end of the first half, I think we went on to lose 2-1.
