I've seen people on here slagging off the Mail,Sun and NOTW and it got me thinking.

Which newspaper is considered to be OK to read by the NSC thought police?

and does anyone in the world ever buy "The Daily Express"

I don't think I've ever seen it in the papers pile in a pub or cafe, don't know anyone who gets it, can't remember anyone ever quoting anything from it on any web site AND I'm pretty certain I've never read anymore than the front page headline

edit: sod it, I'm starting a thread

I guess the real thing is that you pays your money and makes your choice. There is no doubt that some papers have leanings towards certain political parties, it reminds me of a poster I once saw (pardon me if I get it a bit wrong), it described the papers and who read them.

The Times - read by the people who own the country
The Mirror - read by the people who work for the country
The Telegraph - read by the people who run the country
The Mail - read by the wives of the people who run the country
The Guardian - read by the people who think they run the country
The Daily Star - read by people who wish the country was run by another country
The Sun - their readers don't care who runs the country, as long as she has big tits!

I read all newspapers, not on a daily basis but buy different ones all the time.

Quite like the Independent, but often buy the Sun (always on Monday for the football coverage), the Mirror, the Mail etc.. Sometimes browse through a Socialist Worker.

Even the Express, but not often its crap.

I have my politics and they aren't influenced by any newspaper.

I laugh at the sneering looks I get as I "proudly" open my Sun on the tube, since I always leave my paper there and someone else ALWAYS picks it up.

Lot of people being Economical With The Truth on this here thread. Still, at least nobody's openly admitting to buying the Daily Express through choice. Tho we've not yet heard from Hove Bed&Breakfast

I bet most of the people on here whinging about it probably still do.

I buy the Sun and NOTW,the only papers i do buy exept the sports argus.

I want to read gossip and rubbish about footballers and celebs, thats why i buy it.

If i want to know whats realy going on in the world i watch BBC news 24.
