I think its much better than the last one, radical new design and smart. I would have like the badge to stay though.

People moaning about lack of collars are tards imo.

Yup, I like it. Very 'trendy'. If some people had their way we'd still be wearing the old skool kits with laces in the collar. Very bold and the thicker stripes are rad.

Let's push things forward.

I think the 'proper' Albion blue is the Bukta Peter Ward era blue.

The first season back at Withdean, and from then on, blue wasn't quite right IMHO.

But, I rate the new blue. Will take a bit of getting used to without a badge. Saying that, I think it will look the nuts, very original idea.

Love it and the money it will generate, you're all gonna buy it because you're so image conscious - admit it

Nope, they are overpriced pieces of crap and the club has no right to change from the royal blue.

Bet you complained when we first had sponsorship :p

It's going to be a matter of personal choice and if it makes the club more money then great, but some things should be sancrosanct and I think our blue in the home shirt is one of those things. By all means tinker around with the design and change the colour of the away shirts, but don't change the colour of the home shirt that clearly.

we have tinkered with design in recent years and theres only so much you can do with the same two colours and stripes year in year out, the next thing would've been to go with pin stripes

So you were not pissed off when the club moved away from blue and white stripes for that first year at Gillingham.

The colours are part of the tradition and the identity of the club and they should not be tampered with just to shift a few more shirts. At the end of the day it is our club as well as theirs.

Looks like the Albion are in the midst of a major re-branding at the moment. Club's website has gone towards the 'new blue'. The lone seagull has become more prominent in all club stuff...perhaps not a bad thing. Watch other clubs follow next season when they see how successful this offering is; they'll all be going to less cluttered badges and logos.

I wasn't happy when the news first leaked but having seen it (lets hope the real ones look the same) I like it! Are we not the coolest football club in the UK? No others even come close:cool:

At the end of the day its a business decision to generate more cash for the club and a good one at that. Like I said above theres only so much you can do with the same two colours and stripes, and 5 years down the line poeple would be moaning that its the same looking kit as 10 years ago. Change happens and in this case its not exactly a huge change, just a colour change, its not like we went back to the all blue kit, its not like we changed colour to bright red with yellow polka dots!

It is the clubs decision, they own it, they run it, they distribute merchandise. I'm sure if you really are desperate to stick to the old ways then you could find a royal blue marker pen and colour over the lighter blue stripes yourself!

Like all things I will exercise my right as a consumer and not buy it. But it sort of sums things up at the moment with the club. Changing the image of the club without telling anyone, taking the season ticket money earlier and earlier and penalties for those that pay by instalments and well Falmer...

of course yeah dont buy it if you dont like it, simple. As for season tickets/falmer...those are other arguments!
