If everyone was less than ordinary or average we would go down.

The fact that we are average, with a couple of gems, and a couple of duds mean we will finish average

Average is mid table, thats where we'll finish - i reckon 12th

It would be churlish to write off Fraser and Gatting as just average players. Last season was their first full season in professional football! They are not going to be the finished product straight away. Average is definitely the wrong term to use at the moment.

Whilst last season was Gatting's first full season, Tom hasn't had a full season yet! He wasn't even in the squad when McGhee was manager and his first game was Wilkins' first game away at Millwall. (He came on as sub). When he first signed on as a pro he wasn't expecting to play nearly as many games as he did. He thought he might get a few towards the end if we were safe (or relegated). It does piss me off when he gets written off so quickly by the 'experts' on here - especially as he's essentially a central midfielder. I want to see him have a run in his right position.
