Just curious given so many threads either berate, give positive raps or simply talk about the general health of the club and team.

I would have thought they did and give themselves the opportunity to reflect on some of the more sensible posts, as I think there are plenty of good views aired here.

Has it been asked before? - just wondering

Imagine if your were Casper, Barnes or Painter, would it demotivate you or would it have the opposite effect? Any player that did look in would think we are proper cvnts!

If I was a player and I read some of the things written on here I don't think I'd ever want to play professional football again.

Oh PLEASE. I do not buy this. These players are on £ 4k upwards a week to play Sport, to kick a bit of Leather around a park 1-2 times a week, to have 4 training sessions a week ending at lunchtime and the rest of the time to themselves driving around in nice cars and living in nice properties. Diddums if they don't like it. They live a very privileged existance especially compared with many people at the moment and I certainly doubt Ashley Barnes or Ryan Harley will be deciding whether to eat or keep the heating on this Winter. Absolute poppycock.

I know an ex Albion player, his opinion of fans was that most were twats! His colleagues thought the same. You'd never know it at 3pm Saturday though.

It HAS been asked before, at that time some did and some didn't. Some went even further as both Gary Hart and Guy Butters have posted on here.

With regard to them not liking what they read, well it's a fans forum and it reflects what fans think: and not all fans are erudite, sensible people with well-rounded opinions. At the end of the day though there's nothing said on here that hasn't been said by fans since the beginning of professional football, I'm sure players overheard worse in the days when they used to travel to the match on the same buses and trains as the fans. The difference here of course is that the words are permanent, but also they're easily-dismissed as the rantings of a load of nerds.

it gets asked here once a month......i very much doubt it.

I'd say pretty well all of them look on here tbh. Guy Butters and OGH have posted on here, and I'm pretty sure they have a laugh amongst themeslves about some of the absolute bollocks that is written on here. Come on..you would wouldn't you and I can't imagine that it affects them in a negative way at all.

Edit seems Brovian beat me to it re Butters and OGH

Like I said, if I was a player.

Gary Hart has definitely posted on here. I'm sure a lot of them do read it to be honest, but that's life. It must be the same for football players all over the world, lets not pretend it's only NSC/Brighton fans that have extreme views either way on players, it's a fact of the internet and you have to learn either to not read it or to get over it if criticised.

I wouldn't give a shit, I'd just think that most of these twats haven't even played Sunday league but they're trying to sound like Alex Ferguson, and are therefore not worth listening to. Then I'd use my money and status to blow through loads of birds.

Not true From what I overheard 2 men saying about some of our first team squad allegedly from an uncle of one player. The wages paid at BHA are not as good as the majority of other Championship clubs, but better than some.

Can see many of the squad being on much less than £ 4k per week.

If people were posting on an Internet forum site about how you did you're job, would you want to know what's being said? I think I would!

My mate works with the first team and I asked him this same question last week and he said a few of them do to see what people say about them.
