Dick Knight IS bigger than Elvis, and has the advantage of being alive.

Wilkins WAS dispensed with, and thank Elvis for that. His legacy you can see in our current squad.

Yeovil are a tin pot little team and deserve all they get on and off the pitch.

Russell Slade would not have been my choice, but Brian Clough was in deep conversation with Elvis.

Russell Slade is now our manager so he deserves a chance, and I believe he would have come even if we had already been in League 2 because we are still a club with prospects.

This is my opinion.

This smacks of Yeovil being peeved that Slade keeps referring to us as a 'proper club'... they're in real danger of going down and are doing what they can to undermine another relegation threatened team. It seems so pathetic, i reckon this will hinder Yeovil more than us...

then maybe there is something to it

Seeing as Yeovil's statement was made against their own legal advice something is not right but no doubt in due course we will hear about it ..... Or maybe not .....

Anyway, more to the point.......has anyone got any ideas what he got up to ay Yeovil then???:smokin:

I drew the short straw and have ended up doing the story on this. Sort of thing I love, but bloody hard work this time around. As far as I can tell, it's all to do with his alleged application for the Huddersfield job in November last year without permission from Yeovil. Whether this counts as gross misconduct is debatable, but their statement seems a bit suicidal.

...........but Brian Clough was in deep conversation with Elvis.......

Good - they can stay that way! The last thing we'd want would be Clough back again! Fair enough, he was good at Forest and Derby, but he was a disaster down here. If you think we look like a team lacking in confidence now, you should have seen the team under Clough!

Never saw the point of Elvis, either; never even tempted to buy one of his records....................
