I think you could be right, and I think the thing that would/could possibly upset is NSC is it won’t be for that much either, as he is not the finished article.

He is a great player no doubt, but I don’t think his stock is as high as we all think, similar with Joao Pedro.

Hopefully, he’ll stay at least another season or so, because he is still learning, and there is room for improvement. Then we’ll get quite a bit more I would suggest.

The issue is his contract. Two years left.

The other issue is the world cup. There's massive competition for a spot in the dutch defence, being out of Europe is harming his chances.

In terms of probability i'd say

40% moves this summer

30% moves Jan or next summer

20% runs his deal down

10% signs new deal
