any one that didnt go today didnt miss much scrappy game in windy conditions that we hardly had a chance.johna had 2 early strikes from the edge of the box i that wasnt to far away before cardiff took the lead.lee's header struck the bar only for the ref to point to the spot after mayos challange.collins headed home unchallanged minutes later from a freekick and kavanagh ( i think) almost made it 3 when a long range effort struck the bar and bounced back down near the line.the second half was about as exciting as the england holland game when we got any sort of passing moves going or got the ball out wide the final ball was always disapointing and we never looked like scoring

yelldell 5 carried on from last week looked very nervy
reid 6 not one of reidy's better games
mayo 6 unlucky with the penalty
butters 7 typical butters steady but played better
virgo 6 lucky to stay on at end as had already been booked, some wayward passing
hinch 7 defended well
chippy 7 didnt do much wrong
nicolas 6 not his best game
jones 7 at least had a couple of strikes
mccammon 5 was hoping he was gonna prove last week was no fluke but to be fair didnt get the best of service
leon 6 got the ball in dangerous positions without delivering the final ball

subs
hart 5 hardly touched the ball
harding 6 slow start but improved slightly
watson 6 lots of possesion when he came on

Thanks for that, saltash, and we need to remember its one game out of a season. Bring on the next one - onwards and upwards with the Albion.

Funny place, funny people at Cardiff. I bought a pint at half time and asked for a lemonade for my mate who was driving. They charge 10p a dash, so i asked for a half, that will be £1, i.e 10 dashes......the local drink every pint with a dash of lemonade and get charged for it................. P.S Poor game. Come on Albion!!!!

I was stood behind you, Turkey. You're a face now :p

Basically we played rubbish and i spent the whole 2nd half planning our escape route. Not good :(

I hope my gigantism didn't impair your view.. not that that would have been a bad thing. :jester:

Okay we didn't play very well but think of this...on the way we met up with some Sudbury AFC fans at the service station, they were on their way to Bridgwater Town in the FA Vase.

I'm not sure where Bridgwater is without looking on the map and the attendence was 1,031. Oh the glamour...

Point is, why be fed up...we're in the Championship playing teams like Leeds and Sunderland, we stand a good chance of staying up and although today was a set-back, no big deal really.

Just think of Hereford still stuck in the Conference after 8 seasons.
