You are trying to make out that the original poster is like Streicher the editor and arch propagandist of Der Sturmer the Jew baiting paper of the Nazi's.

The original poster is not doing anything like this at all.

All he is pointing out is Jack Straw's father was a conscientious objecter during the 2nd World War while his wife was a Jew (whom the Nazi's at that time were slaughtering). There is nothing wrong or abhorent with stating that if it is the truth (which I think it is).

Why don't you actually read what he is trying to say rather than try to make a slur by infering that the poster is some sort of Nazi??

Also you are wrong, fighting and sometimes dying for your principles i.e fighting evil (which the anti semite Nazi's where) is far stronger sense of morals than chickening out and spending the war years in jail. Thank goodness we had far more people of the former than the later in 1939.

To a point I would agree, however it is still a statement of fact.

It is also a FACT that many thousands of consciencous objectors contributed to the war effort by serving in non combatant roles. Jack's old man didn't he chose the safety of a prison.

No doubt Jack wouldn't want people to know that his brother is on the sex register but this is a fact too.

When people enter public office they should obviously be judged on their individual merits and I would happily do so with Jack as he is a self confessed liar and a common thief.

When you contrast his conduct with the behaviour of other members of his family then at least you can understand where he got it from.

Marvellous, so what particular hate crime am I responsible for here? Possibly sexism dependent on how sensitive you are to the words some people use.

This kind of encapsulates the devisive nature of political correctness doesn't it, the steps are always the same.

Step 1) I use a word that is still in common usage to describe female jews, a word widely used for centuries.
Step 2) You consider the word offensive becuase of your polictical predilection and outrage follows.
Step 3) The user is then swiftly branded a Nazi without any explanation why.

Still what else should I expect from someone who considers that the cowardice of Jack Straw's Dad should be admired as a virtue.
