this may have been mentioned already so apologies at the ready but did anyone else hear bobby gould shout 'and your mother' or something like that to the crowd after someone near me(wasnt me...honest' started doing an offensive chant to him...well we mentioned his country which i would be ashamed of!

Didn’t hear what he actually said but he was apoplectic for the entire 90 minutes and had a quality row with the linesman with in the second half and lino gave as good as he got, funny moment

I heard. The geezer shouted some abuse, then 'who are you kidding?' to which Bobby replied 'your GRANDmother'!

It was all in good spirit.

A "wag" shouted, "Gould you're a failure, who are you kidding?"
Bobby Gould shouts back, "Your Grandmother" & had a laugh with the crowd.
It was quite funny actually, honest.

There's a group of four regulars in front of me in E block. One is the original Mr Angry. Not a match goes by without a linesman or away manager getting a verbal assualt with his penetrating voice. Mr Angry hollered " GOULD, YOU ARE A COMPLETE FAILURE, ETC, ETC......Gould shouted back some reference about Mr Angry's Grandmother! I missed the punchline....
