Did anyone else come across the Palace "fans" at the AMEX Yesterday

Did anyone else come across the Palace fans who thought it would be funny to ruin our big day yesterday?

I can only imagine that they got tickets from Eastbourne Borough or the Sussex FA?

Bunch of guys late 20's/early 30's scuffling in the University car park after the game and generally intimidating anyone they thought would be worth a pop. Had a go at me and my couple of mates, showing me their little pin badges (guess they weren't going to wear colours more blatantly than that) and threatening that we were going to get "f***ing served".

Obviously didn't rise to the bait. Just left a bad taste in the mouth on what should have been a great day.

Quite a few Palace reside in Eastbourne.Just a thought.

Wow. They did a great job ruining our big day didn't they? Seems like hardly anyone noticed them and those who did just ignored them. Morons.

I was waiting at the bus stop by the Swan for bus back to Lewes. An old BMW came screaming down from the uny to join the A27 the occupants shouting something about Palarse.

yeah right, but if so the how about stop crying about it. "Man up" is the modern expression but I prefer getting a backbone

Fair enough I suppose. But i'm just not that sort of guy. Nor were the other fans who had this nasty experience.
To be honest, I hesitated posting the 1st comment. It was my Dad who persuaded me that it needed to go live.
Just a scary experience and one that I (and others) didn't need.

Here's an idea. You're evidently feeling aggrieved by your run-in with these turds, so why not report it to the club? If their CCTV is as good as it ought to be, they shouldn't have much trouble identifying the culprits (providing you can remember what they looked like). Don't be a victim.

To be fair, he wasn't having a winge, but reporting an incident most knew nothing about. I thank the OP for posting if only to further highlight the mind numbing stupidity of our caravan dwelling friends
