What is a good time before the game to have a chance of getting in there?

As early as possible - 12.30 ish you walk straight in normally!!!

Never had much problem getting in at 1.30.

I find that joining the end of the queue at about 2.00pm means about a 15 minute wait to get in. But once you are in, the service is prompt and easy, so it's a more pleasant experience than the scrum at the bar at The Sportsman ever was.

Everyone's tastes and expectations are different. Service is good and prompt. Good beer, pies, a reasonable chance of getting a seat, interesting things to see on the walls, Albion fans, TV screens, nice toilets, an easy walk to your seat. Try it. If you don't like it, try somewhere else next time.

Sounds alright to me.

I normally just loiter around in the North pre game but might try Dicks as my Dad is coming down to the Amex for his first game there today.
