According to page 3 of the Argus today, 'that' picture of Liam Dickinson carrying the passed-out girl in West Street on Monday night (from The Sun but posted on NSC) was seen by Bloom who hit the roof. A bit of an over-reaction you might think, but Dickinson had called in sick for training on Tuesday!! Oops, don't think he was expecting to be 'snapped' although in fairness, he was just doing a good turn.

Dickinson's response was he had been out with another player in the town centre for a meal at Wokmania (not surprised he was sick lol) and was on his way home.

Hinshelwood called in Dickinson and he was dropped from today's game. All the players according to this article have been banned from nights out in Central Brighton until further notice.

So they should be......i dont want to see any of them out on the piss in Brighton until they won at least 10 games on the bounce....till then they can actually start earning their wages rather than going out in town.

The new gaffer has got some serious problems to sort out next week. Oh by the way US on the 2nd of Nov they would have been celebrating a 3-3 home draw!

I just seems to be one long party for the players and as far as I am concerned there is not much to celebrate.

You are right. Another game at home without a win and getting the manager sacked. Break out the Champagne.

I know mate it's terrible. But if it's true that Bloom lost his rag about this Dickinson situation then I hope one of the BIG things he will want the new boss to be hot on is discipline. Gannon for me is the right man (I know, I know there are lots of reasons he wont come) but if you read the bbc site and see what he has said about some of the Well players that is what we need.

Exactly i can deal with the occasional long night especially when theyve got a day off the next day, but this season several of the players seem to be more interested in partying than in playing football, bennett i can excuse because he still throws in a great performance every single week but Dickinson in particular seems to go out on inappropriate days (little interest in the club) and has delivered very little on the pitch, i think its very good he has been dropped as a warning and im delighted theyve now all been banned from going out as some of them were taking it to far

The players had better get the champagne on ice as another defeat is on its way.

The good news is the game is only a couple of hours away so they can be showered and dressed and in town to start the celebrations and on the beer by 8pm. They will have to go to somewhere like Worthing tonight though.
