Saved our club from oblivion and achieved the impossible, will be remembered in years to come as a true hero. He has made mistakes and can appear arrogant but I wouldn't swap him for any other chairman

You'd prefer any of them?
.
Slightly contentious, I would have thought. Without the Bamber era we might still be a provincial side with plans to move into a 10,000 seater identikit stadium.
It has always been my impression that, despite the success on the field in the Bamber era, the overspending during that time created problems that had far-reaching effects on the club's future.
Are we not still a 'provincial' side?
Past and present...
Ken Bates
Greg Stanley
Bill Archer
The tosser who took Wimbledon to Milton Keynes
Rupert Lowe
Mike Bamber
Ken Richardson
Darren Whathisface at Chesterfield

Also Briatore, whose plans to turn QPR into a 'boutique football experience' make me throw up in my mouth a bit every time I see him.
He's already spent four-and-a-half years in Italian prison for fraud so how he passes the fit and proper person test I have no idea.
I am very happy with DK but I would definitely prefer the man who oversaw the arrival of the best players, teams, style of football, and league position that this club has ever had
The negatives about spending have to be taken in context imo, after the death of Keith Wickenden and the descent to division 2, we were in disarray to the tune of about 7 million but we still had a ground.
It was the incompetence of those that followed that continued the descent, sacking Cattlin being a prime example from Bedson. I have no doubt we would have been challenging for a return to the 1st division if he'd stayed.
