I was wondering, how come people get really upset when i post these threads, saying there is no point to them BUT it is ok for Bozza to post the 'Good Morning' thread every day which has just as little point to it.

Perhaps Lord Bracknell would like to answer this question seeing as he was the mod he told me to stop it.

Personally there's a lot of pointless stuff on here so i don't know why you've been singled out

It probably comes down to the fact that complaints are received about some threads, whereas others receive very little comment.

Not that we always respond to complaints, of course - this isn't Sainsbury's and we don't have a Customer Charter.

The complaints I take seriously are the ones that persuade me that people are being discouraged from using NSC because there's too much self indulgent shite cluttering up the front page.

At this very moment we have 127 people viewing NSC. Most of them don't know everyone. Sometimes some people seem to forget that.

Do you think that it might be related to the fact that 'Good morning' is harmless and targets no-one, whereas your dispute with Downloaded Penguin is quite long running and postings often result in threads degenerating into abuse?

Am I close, or am I wide of the mark?

May I also remind you of a PM you sent me at 11:02am on 10/6/04 where, on the subject of your dispute with Downloaded Penguin, you said:

"i told you the other day i wouldn't say anything else on the subject and i haven't."

The previous message being sent at 2:51pm on 8/6/04 when you said:

I am not looking to change his mind.

I can't do the diary of downloaded penguin threads anymore because penguin no longer puts what he is doing of an evening as his username on msn geekcaster so I don't actually know what he is doing each evening anymore!

I just wondered why the 'good morning' threads were ok, but the diary wasn't. Seeing as they take up the same amount of space on the board and people can just not look at the diary threads in the same way as i don't bother to look at the 'good morning' threads. Actually maybe that is the reason, maybe there is useful information and debate in the 'good morning' threads.................... I will go and have a look and see if there is....

Your first paragraph is correct.

Your second is incorrect. You were one of a number of posters who joined at a time when we were on 'Dwayne-watch' who could have been our muscled ginger chum. It did not mean I thought you were a twat unless your first post displayed overly twattish tendencies - I don't believe it did. It meant I was guarded as to who you were - and it was soon shown you were not our Kylie-loving, chimney-sweeping pal.
