The club shop said a while ago that the DVD of last season's review would be out sometime in September. Sadly, they didn't specify what year they meant.

Does anyone know what's going on with this? I check the club shop periodically only to see nothing (surprise, surprise). Are they still going to release this DVD, or being a clever, revenue raising and potentially popular product did they decide to pull the plug on it?

I heard it was the video that was out in September which it is.

I believe but don't take this as gospel the dvd may be December.

Newbury, Berkshire.
It hasn't come out yet because Dick Knight insisted on burning every copy himself individually on the PC in the club offices to save money, and we all know how au fait he is with computers !

No chance of DVD.

Asked when it was due to be released in September. Was told quite categorically that "Your better off just buying the video". She indicated that it won't ever be released on DVD format.

Sounds about right. The people who work for the club shop have always been terrific. But the club's business practices belong in the stone age. A DVD would probably out-sell a VHS in this day and age, they should get out of antiquity and listen to the demand. They are really turning down a profitable business opportunity.

Then again, until recently they never bothered to put the club shop's telephone number on the web site so there was no way of contacting them if you wanted to ring them up. Great way of attracting customers. Unless they had only just discovered Alexander Graham Bell's marvellous device. Yeah, that's probably the reason...

I chucked my VHS as it broke and refuse to buy a new one as the only thing I'd watch on it is my BHA vids.....

I'm looking into getting the videos transfered onto DVD somehow at the moment.
