It is all too common, the defendant suffers from PTSD, or has experienced that, or some other horses**t.

A panel of independent mental health practitioners will assess the suspect. Contrary to what you claim, a suspect can’t just appear in front of a judge and have their solicitor claim they have mental health issues.
It’s a rigorous process and is not taken lightly.
If they are found to be suffering from mental illness it doesn’t automatically exonerate them and in in fact most will end up serving far longer in secure units then they ever would in jail.

No point sending someone with psychotic tendencies to jail for 18 months, releasing them untreated and then they stab the first person they see on the bus. Far better they are treated and medicated for their condition in a secure unit with a thorough patient release programme.

Poor mental health is not the get out of jail free card sources such as The Daily Mail would have us believe.

Until fairly recently my wife also worked within the prison system as a healthcare administrator manager. Part of her role was to find spaces in specialist units when prisoners had been sectioned by the specialists. There just isn't any spaces anywhere to deal with some very complex cases including some very prolific self harmers and potential suicide cases. The whole mental health system has fallen apart.

Yep, we have self harmers and suicide risks who should be in far higher support environments. There just aren't the spaces. As you say, it's a mess.

worthingseagull123 is newly hatched, in a white cul de sac, in the 1920s, wrapped in Daily Express swaddling, with his left index finger up his arse. Sad, really. Imagine the anguish.

Can't stand the woman, but wouldn't wish that on her.

Diane Abbot maintains its critical to maintain 2 Peters apart during this self insulation to halt this academic.

The only Peter I know is 100 miles away. I'll assume there is one in between so I'm okay there.

This self insulation business. Where's the best place to get mineral rock wool ?
