They're now showing Swan Song starring none other than the great Johnny Cash, which is either a triumph or a tragedy, depending on your perspective.

Columbo for me, followed by Monk.
If you not seen Monk, same as Columbo where you know who the killer is but its how he catches them. A former dectetive, now an advisor who suffers from germophobia to the San Franciso police dept. has a personal nurse as his helper.

I have to add a couple of my own faves:

Identity Crisis (1976) starring Patrick McGoohan & Leslie Nielsen. Also featuring Paul Gleason (Clarence Beeks from Trading Places).

By Dawn's Early Light (1974) also starring Patrick McGoohan, and featuring a very young Bruno Kirby as well as his dad Bruce.
