Michael Vaughan on TMS yesterday said it was an open division 1 this season and mentioned every team as being able to win it apart from Derbyshire and Sussex. His pro Yorky stance, always rabbiting on about Yorkshire, is really annoying. That old adage 'you can tell a Yorkshireman, but you can't tell him much' is so true.

We are up to fourth and only 15 points off the top team with a match in hand. Bowling looks strong and batting far firmer and deeper than last season.

Yes, after the batting struggled last year we now have most batting points in division despite having played less games than most. It's been a great start to the season!
