Well why should I have to pay adult price while I'm 16? Defeats the point of student discount doesnt it.

Well you cant exactly grumble if you have to, you get a damn good deal for league games so an extra £3 for a cup game is'nt the biggest hardship in the world.

Still defeats the point, though. Why is it just the South Stand Centre where there is no U21 prices? It may not be the biggest hardship in the world, but when you're 16, you've already paid £140 quid for a season ticket, £18 quid doesnt come easy.

I've just Asked The Club about this.

Makes no sense on any level for the club to be sending out more paper than necessary. Especially as the more cheapo the delivery firm employed, the more random the chances of the letter actually being delivered.

I've asked the club to consider offering us a 'contact me by email only' option for future ticket applications, if they insist on secret codes and special application forms and all the rest of it. Personally, I trust the club to deliver an email far more than I trust a man in a van in Burgess Hill to deliver a letter.

Don't go then. Its a cup game so the pricing is obviously gonna be slightly different. If you can't go im sure someone else will take your seat.

In principle, I agree with this.

The problem is, though, that there is some glitch in the Club's system that means that they have NEVER been able to get an e-mail to arrive at my main e-mail address.

I don't know what the problem is. Maybe it's because I use a .me.uk address. And I know that they've tried to fix it. But it still doesn't work.

I know the pricing will be differnt - My point is, it is unfair and inconsistent to have U21 prices for the rest of the ground - including the away end - but not the South Stand centre. Infact, I'd be surprised if there isnt some kind of ruling preventing that - espicially when U21 season tickets could be purchased at a cheaper rate. So please dont use the "dont go then" arguement. I will go regardless, I just find it both a little unjust and surprsing.

I do understand what you're saying, though with Cup games and such there is no guarentee that pricing levels will be the same - the club dont have to have U21 pricing anywhere. They have obviously decided for one reason or another that they want to charge more of South stand centre. Probably slightly unfair but thats life.

The thing is, I'm pretty sure they cant offer U21's, like myself, ( months away from being able to get an under 16 ST ) season ticket deals at a cut price then not follow it up with reduced prices for a cup game in one area of the ground while they do it in all others - espicially when they're offering the Derby fans reduced U21 prices.
