Can I just say I used to drink (occasionally) with Denny Laine in a pub called the Turks Head in Laleham, which is the posh part of Staines.

Just wanted to share that.

15 when he joined I think. I love Traffic, shame the egos became so big that Dave Mason left. Great band and all so ridiculously young to be writing and making fantastic music that still stands up today.

Paper Sun.....one of my favourite all timers!!!Used to put it on the juke box at the grotty Carlton on Bognor seafront in 1967 after finishing the day as deckchair attendant.

Can i just say that, soon after he left Wings, Denny Laine guested a few times with the band I played in at the Golden Martlett in Hellingly. He was staying with Peter Grant (as in the Led Zep mgr), who had an estate in Hellingly. However, we could never get him to sing "Go Now" despite repeatedly trying!
