They should be happy for a day or 2 looks like theyve signed Rodrigo for 27m up front and on 100k a week. Interestingly 60k a week more than Bamford. I do hope he doesn't have a match top earners contract

But if we didn't exist...how would a kid from Sussex have ended up at Leeds?

Thoughts? Hmmmm I have one. The only thing non existent is your punctuation.

Edit: Just realised it doesn't show the annoying Leeds goon's post.

It's worth noting that Rodrigo scored 7 (seven) goals last season, in 2,500 minutes, missing 10/38 La Liga games through 4 different periods of injury...

Paddy B, who is shitehouse, scored 16 in 3,500 minutes...

I think you must be mistaken. In that one deal, they have now moved ahead of us in the recruitment stakes as well - we're no longer on their level apparently

Dear oh dear. Maybe point out that we had international forwards out on LOAN in the Champions League and Copa Libertadores last season...

Oh, and Rodrigo scored 1 goal in 17 matches... at Bolton Wanderers.

I'd rather we didn't. Attackers are overpriced both in terms of transfer fees and salaries. It goes against the grain on here, but I don't think we need to go large on a striker; a pacy left-sided wing back would be a far better investment.

Signing players from Valencia is so 2012. It might also be worth pointing out (it won't be cause they won't listen anyway) we've signed a player from the reigning Premier League Champions who has actually won the Champions League, and another who has played in the Semi Finals.

Seems little to spend on a 29 year old. Would rather spend less on Nunez or Watkins personally

Our “conduct is utterly bizarre” because we’re not selling a good young player to Leeds.

This continues to be a very challenging concept for many to understand. Would they sell Ben for £20 odd million?

And look at their local journo Phil Hay stoking the flames.

Because we can value a player how we want?

It’s not just based on current ability, but resale value.
Ok, let’s offer you £10m for Phillips.

Won't make the slightest difference because collectively their footballing knowledge just froze sometime in the early 70s. Hence, they will always be a huge club, despite all the evidence to the contrary and we will always be tinpot, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

It's sad, but as my Gran used to say, "They are more to be pitied than scorned!"

I posted in the Ben White thread about how we had planned Whites development, It was while he was on loan to Newport that Leeds were impressed after the FA cup match between them. At the end of the season Leeds enquired about a possible loan (White was then in the U23) whilst Brighton were planning his next loan club. Brighton were open to to possibility but Bielsa decided he was not ready so the loan to Peterborough went ahead.
