That guy is quality... I hope he does enough to get the job. Will probably need someone slightly above him as a general manager type role, but Deano is a class act. At the fans forum, he took the time to say hello to a number of fans and just gave a really decent impression to many people there.

He sounds humble but determined and worth a shout - maybe to the end of the season and then review the situation.

Just heard him on the radio, he quoted
"I love this Football Club"
So his decisions and selections will always be for the benefit of the club, not personal feelings............now thats a relief

Agreed he wont look for a rugby league player upfront, he will look for a footballer

I think we need a manager who loves the club at the moment. When we get to Falmer and have loads of cash, we can afford to have a manager who is here for the glory. Until then we need a manager who is here for the love of it.

It's incredibly early to make any judgement, but I thought his idea of bringing the players across right in front of the fans during the warm up and then again later on was spot on. A clear step towards recognising the importance of the support.

I'm delighted for him, just back from the game and he has proved a lucky general for us today - bravo Deano

He ended up like that after 3 years, here's hoping it won't be 3 months for the next guy! :)
