Really random question, but here goes anyway...

Just looking at some Brighton pics on the net, and my gf spotted Dean Cox in one of the pictures.

She swears she recognizes him from school...Oathall Community College, although she isn't 100% sure.

Does anyone know if that is correct, or does he have any ties with HH???

It's driving her insane! :bla::bla:

He was SHIT today, seems to of lost the ability to run with the ball, or cross the ball over their first man.

Indeed. However, this goes apparently unnoticed by Wilkins EVERY bloody week

Cox is shockingly bad at getting the ball over the first man from crosses!

He is definatly NOT a left winger, he cant play an early ball into the box because he needs to cut back onto his right foot!

Maybe he needs a break for a game or so? And then play him on the RIGHT wing

Yup went to Primary School and Secondary School with him, and played football with him after school over at Franklands village.

VERY cocky, but any side with him won, so I can't blame him.

Came from St Wilfrids:bigwave:

4 fantastic balls into the box and the corner that set up the goal....can't ask much more of the young maestro

I thought Cox put in our most dangerous crosses today and ran his socks off. There were a couple of wasted corners and his runing with the ball on one occasion was appaling when he should have done better but in all honesty, I thought he had a very good game.

Still lives with his parents in Sheppeys, HH. Played for Cuckfield Cosmos when at school.

I rate Cox as a player but recently both him and Robinson seem to have lost a spark ( waiting for someone to post a hilarious comment about how it is because Robinson is injured). I'm not sure what it is but when they used to receiev the ball the atmosphere turned up: they were going to do something! But I am finding more and more that their talents are going to waste.

I said in another thread that I think Cox/Robinson should be placed on the half way line when we're defending a corner or something. I think if we gave Cox more of a free role we would benefit.

It's called the long ball game...

When your team hoofs the ball up to the front players, it automatically cancels out your wingers.

Blame Dean Wilkins, not Dean Cox
