I don'y know why everybody is suddenly so down, I have had that sinking feeling for weeks... I don't even think a new striker would have helped now...?

Your right, without any service, even a great striker would have struggled.
In respect to the kid from arsenal - lupoli (sp?) he was not a target man and according to MM for the past year thats what he has been looking for. I have had that sinking feeling for months - next season big macca will score the winner to send us down if MM stays - sods law

Driving from Bognor Regis to Brighton this morning with SCR on the radio I am POSITIVE that the newsreader said that BHA had lost out on Andy Cole from Man City due to him needing an operation on his knee ( Loan deal of course!)

Did anyone else hear this? There is nothing out there on the 'net and even SCR's website doesn't cough up the goods.

Very strange! Maybe driving through Worthing I misdialed and got Fantasy FM?

No what i heard was Man City will be without Andy Cole for the rest of the season because of a Knee injury
