If he spent more time on the training field instead of this crap, he might not be such a s**** keeper now.

Cue all the "how dare you say that - hands off the man" bollox.

Has anyone checked if he's on the new series of The Apprentice?

"This is a man who has tasted the very top of the game but was not too proud to go on loan to League Two Stevenage in the 2020/21 season to play regular first-team football."

So ruddy, bloody brave.

"Want a man who has had a foot in both camps? Stockdale is your man".

Sounds like a line you'd put in your profile on a bi-curious dating site.

That's a lovely site. But I just couldn't stop cringing.

What does this mean?

Surrounded by strong, independent women in his life, David has an unswerving respect for women across the board and would welcome the chance to promote equal-opportunity and diversity campaigns.

As a staunch family man, David is also a great option for brands targeting consumers in that demographic.

Think David can help your cause or brand?

Give us a shout. Let’s talk.

Consumers in the demographic of.... having a... family?

Christ. Not sure whether to laugh or shrink in embarrassment.

For a guy who has enjoyed an ‘extravagant range of opportunities’ come his way, this is one helluva hard sell….

I find all this giggling at a man so crucial in our promotion fight not to mention the role played in the clubs response to the air show disaster a bit gruesome.

Seems to me a bloke who's coming to the end of his career trying to set himself up for the next stage.

It's a wee bit pompous I'll give you that but let's not be cruel, eh?
