Hello everybody, it's been a long time since I've been here but I've a question.

I've got an autograph of the late David 'Rocky' Rocastle that I got when he, Gary Linker and The great Gary Stevens opened Broadwater Sports in Worthing back in the late 80's/early 90's.

I was wondering if anybody had any idea of how much it's worth or knows where I could sell it if it's worth alot?

It is a tad out of focus but I just took it as a rough idea!

I've tried e-bay but that was just confusing. They had the Busby Babes for £3! Can't be right.

contact http://www.frasersautographs.com and ask them for a valuation. They are part of Stanley Gibbons and pretty much the standard for autographs. Sadly, don't expect too much for it.

Always bear in mind that whatever an "expert" tells you, it is only worth the figure they quote if you can find someone to buy it.

Probably best to put it on ebay for 10 days with a small reserve, see what it gets bid up to, if you're not happy with the price withdraw it before the end of the auction. There are a number of Arsenal signatures on there, but none as interesting as your one.

I'm not sure where mine is, but I doubt that I've thrown it out. I'm a hoarder! I'm actually having a tidy up now which is how I found the autograph.

R.I.P. David Rocastle, absolutely tragic. Great player in his day. Try posing on one of the gunners forums, I bet you will get somebody on there willing to pay well for the autograph of an Arsenal legend.
