Feel a bit sorry for him, but he seems to have completely lost any skill that he may have once had at being a football manager when he was at Everton.

People will say that he has inherited a poor squad at Sunderland or that he didn't get the support at Utd, but in my mind a good football manager is one who through good tactics and man management can get the very best out of what he has.

Teams can buy success and there are many examples of this, but managers who get success within tight budget constraints (Hughton, Warnock (yes, I know) etc)), for me, are a bit of a dying breed.

Never feel sorry for someone earning at least £50,000 a week.

Didn't he underachieve at everton? Considering the talents they had

No, he didn't underachieve at all. For most of his time there, Everton didn't have a pot to pi$$ in.

He should have been given more time at Man Utd. too. He inherited a poor squad that Fergie had coaxed, cajoled and bullied to the title, but after that they were done. Fergie, to his credit, distanced himself to give his successor room (unlike Busby, who stood behind his luckless successors like the spectre at the feast, and made himself available as the 'go to' for players for years after he left. Intentionally or not, though, Fergie left agent Giggs behind; Moyes first act should have been to show him the door.

Well, you're free to do so if you wish.

Can't help but wonder what Moyes would have achieved at Everton had Bill Kenright - who although wealthy by most of our standards, had nowhere enough money to bankroll a PL club - managed to sell to wealthy owners - as he was trying to, to bring in the funds Everton needed - before Moyes left.
