He certainly knows where the net is. Would be a great addition if true.

Well if you look at his club stats, they aren't fantastic. He only really got going at Preston and Leeds and still didnt manage 1 in 3.
But he is a quality player for this league and you can't knock his record for N.Ireland.

He got dropped by Northern Ireland yesterday because he has been out of form - so the bit about him wanting first team football is probably true at least.
