Cotteril is quite good but not very exciting.

Birmingham seem to have some pretty low buy out clauses written into their player contracts. The lad who's just moved to Leicester was decent enough and went for relatively low amount by all accounts.

Would that have something to do with them flirting with relegation a while ago, most contracts are sorted before the league finishes therefore it makes sense for the player in some case's.

Dreadful signing for either of them.

Buckley as a loan player just doesn't work. He needs months and months to get up and running then he is just about worth it. A short term loan is pointless.

Possibly however I would have thought they may have put a higher value / release clause in his contract , and the lower amount would be by the player giving himself options... I don't know anyway just guessing to be honest.

probably because it is of interest and as with Townsend you just disregard it as very unlikely to happen.but you can wish for it to be true.
