Its worth tuning into the live digital coverage (via the red button)on Sky One for this David Blaine stunt when the pubs turn out. He's snoozing in his glass box, and getting heckled by drunken cockneys clearly just out of the pub. Just turned the sound up and heard:

"Oi wake up you tosser"
"She'll show you her tits if you wake up"
"Ahh bollocks to this, its just another illusion"

and some slapper

"I wanna see your dick, now come down"

Whoops, someones just lobbed something which has hit the box and woke him up ! Feel quite sorry for him now, they're all just hurling abuse...

Bizarre.

why??

because 1) he's an attention seeker

and 2) he's doing it in our back yeard not his!!!

if he wants to pull a publicity stunt he can f*** off back to the U.S!

I read that the Guinness book of records have snubbed him as they won't endorse any fasting records and his 'box' that he is supposedly living in is pretty big compared to some peoples home.
If he wants a challenge he can come and be me for a month!
Shit job.....3 kids that are intent on destroying me and a missus that has a addiction to shoes.
I thought watching Big Brother was sad!
(No offence intended all you Blainerwatchers out there!)

1. Stick a yank in a highly visible box.
2. Hoist the box in the air, and illuminate it with bright lights.

And they're wondering why it's being pelted with objects?

LOL

We should have a different yank every week!

Hey, are you me? ???

Ahhh, and duh is defender of the attention-whore, how apropriate!

If you put yourself out there for the public judgement, whether you are pretending it's entertainment or not, you willl have to be open to whatever criticism or 'slings and arrows' come your way - and those are the rules. He doesn't get any guarantee that his cheap stunt will be accepted with pomp and circumstance just because he decided to say "look at me everyone, I'm daring to live in a box without food for publicity and in hope of getting mucho money somewhere along the line" .

Put him to the test a bit, barrack the beggar and chuck some stuff, it'll actually add to the interest value for an otherwise mundane waste of time and space .
Eggmundo gives some 'food for thought' there - perhaps struggling dads and beleagured should get some publicity and even sponsorship ! Bollocks to the Osbourns, what about the Eggmundos ?

i feel sorry for the guy. he's doing his thing expecting people to embrace his daring feat and he's getting pumbled with abuse. oh well, it comes with it i guess but this abuse hurling didn't seem to happen at all in america!! is this a proud moment for britain afterall?

I'm sure he's realistic enough to have been expecting it. Anyhoo, if he's doing this thing he's probably in some sort of hypnotic trance and has blocked the public out.
