Totally agree about Rooney taken the spot kick, Had about 14 people around tonight and we all said let rooney take it, his confidence is buzzing, and we all said and still think if he had stepped forward then he would have scored. Beckham has yet again cost us a beautiful trophy.

To be fair when you think back to the qualifier against Greece when he led the team by example, he does sometimes make the England side tick. Because of the hype sometimes there is an overestimation of what he should be doing.
