didn't he already have a trial with us once?

Or was that his brother (sadly died in a car crash)?

I like what I have seen of him. However, I would imagine that Speroni will be leaving Palace, so they will want to keep hold of him.

I'm sure I read that he called his son after his late brother, the one that played for Portsmouth and was prone to collapsing on the pitch.

No Idea, It does ring a bell, I remember him being pretty solid for Southend in both the promotion seasons

He did indeed.

Sadly his brother didnt help his conditiopn by being drunk behind the wheel

He hasn't looked great in his few appearances for us, very nervous. Not easy being in the shadow of Speroni who is never going to be ousted by Flavs.

Very good reaction shot stopper but other aspects of his game are lacking hence why he's never cut it above League One. If we sign him there will have been no point releasing Kuipers.

I'd rather Walker was our #2 goalkeeper, we don't need another one as far as I'm concerned. We should start next season with Brezovan and Walker, and bring in a loan goalkeeper if one of them gets injured.

A keeper can either win you or lose you 20 points very easily so we need another keeper with Walker as No3 and the other 2 fighting to be No 1.

Fair point, I'll rephrase.

If we're going to release Michel Kuipers, then we might aswell just keep Brezovan as number 1 and Walker as his back up and not bother finding a 3rd goalkeeper. Poyet keeps talking about his 22/23 man squad for next season, and 3 goalkeepers isn't really neccessary, not with the loan market how it is. I would rather have Brezovan and Walker, then a loanee if needed.

In Walker we trust.
