But he was able to do it last season quite successfully I recall. Something is up with him.

Yep, he’s on 20 for us and 20 for United (16 for Arsenal)

92 games for United, 91 for us. Remarkably consistent! 88 for Arsenal - lean spell.

This is all PL totals though - he has quite a few cup/european goals - but not many for us (2 in 11, v 12 in 44 for Utd/Arsenal)

I’ve been banging this drum for quite a while now - he’s played a hell of a lot of high intensity football in 2023 for club and country for his age and he needs a rest.

There’s a reason why it’s very, very rare for an 18 (now just 19) year old to play as much top level football as he has.
