when asked by Andrew Hawes about being on the transfer list...

"That is in the past, I don't want to talk about it, I am happy at the Albion"

It was in the context of instability, change of managers, still waiting for Falmer etc...

With Coppout at Reading, I think it is a very reasonable question to ask - and I was happy with the answer, but am under no illusions that there is still much potential for him to think the grass is greener elsewhere.

Having said that, his present form is also a bit of a worry. I hope McGhee's reputation for strong defence means he can sort our back 4 (5 including the keeper) out a bit, and give them some confidence and improve their communication.

Maybe he should have asked him instead why his form has taken a nosedive lately and why he insists on blaming everybody else for our defensive fcuk ups?

I think I would-he's not going to smack anybody for asking a question is he?

Sadly, I'm not in a position to ask him that but somebody should....step forward Mr McGhee.

yeah true but still he's huge and I'm small and I'd be scared just asking him something nice :lolol:

"please Mr Cullip Sir sign my shirt"

"NO...go away"

"aarrgghh....runaway...runaway!"

DC has been looking a little ragged (Brentford especially), fortunately the calm efficiency of Butters has meant we've not conceeded more than we have. Shape at the back needs work, too many unchallenged balls bouncing in the box. Chippy looks out of sorts in the middle too, few of the older pros look a bit complacent. Maybe it's because this division is so poor in general that it's hard for them to get fired up, who knows ? McGhee will give them a kick up the jacksy I'm sure.
