In a pile of football shirts
I love DB, he is the best presenter on all radio I reckon. I listed to his BBC London show online when I am not in London, silly and superb.

Recently I was on his BBC London show, I recited the lyrics to Hawkwind/Motorheads "Motorhead" in the style of a priest giving a sermon. He is a joy to talk to, and has a mind of unfathomable knowledge. I look forward to hearing him on 606.

crikey,im astonished by the popularity of the guy.i have to say years ago when i first heard him on the radio i liked him,but unfortunately he began to annoy me.he loves the sound of his own voice and hardly gives the caller a chance.i am certainly in the minority according to this poll which makes me wonder if im getting to be a bit of a misery in my old age.but anyway folks he doesnt work for me ,sorry

I still remember the Golden Days of 606 when it was exciting and innovative, mostly due to DB and his foil, Danny Kelly. Some of the threads were anarchic, off the wall and sometimes even connected to football !

I still remember one classic thread " Things you have been hit with at a football match" one chap was at a Sunderland v Boro match and the bloke standing 6 feet in front of him was hit by a golf ball thrown from the Sunderland fans. The chap went down like a sack of spuds but within 10 minutes, although bruised, led the anti-Sunderland singing. Seconds later another golf ball hits the SAME guy... same result ! 2 golf balls thrown same bloke in a crowd of about 2,000 hit twice ? the odds ?

DB Could not believe that Sunderland fans had developed the Targettable Golf Ball, and could this technology be patented ?

Hilarious radio ! welcome back Dan !
