Moyes eyes defender Harding

Moyes faces £30m cash boost
Everton boss David Moyes is keeping an eye on Brighton left-back Dan Harding, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 20-year-old England Under-21 star is out of contract next summer but might be lured from Brighton for a fee in the January transfer window.

Harding's arrival would pile pressure on current Goodison Park full-backs Alessandro Pistone and Gary Naysmith.

And Moyes is also interested in Wigan's Leighton Baines, who has just stepped up to England Under-21 level.

Following Everton's superb start to the Premiership season, chairman Bill Kenwright has suggested Moyes could be given nearly £30m to spend in January.

IS THIS BETTER?

I love the fact it says pile on the pressure, as if two established Premiership players would bat an eyelid at Harding's arrival!

He's a long way from Premier League standard. If we get a reasonable offer we should take it (with sell on clauses obviously).

Go on Moyes.

Give us, say, .......................................

£2 Million!!!

Then everyone will be happy! :)

(you can afford it from the Rooney sale. Go on you know it makes sense! )

:)

Harding's agent putting a bit of pressure on the Albion during the contract negotiations?

Albion could counter this by reminding him that he's not playing very well at the moment.

That's why I'll take the £2 Million!

(or something slightly less)
