The Wolves game was poor and the Leicester game quite poor as well, other than that he's been very solid for the most part. Unfortunately people are only willing to acknowledge this for a few hours before they return to their previous takes that he is garbage.

He is a very decent PL defender and GP was 200% correct when he said that people throwing shit in BDBs direction know feck all about football.

To be fair, against Wolves he was up against Traore and then Sanchez palmed the ball into him for the own goal and his confidence was knocked. That first half against Wolves, everyone was poor but poor old BDB bears the brunt of it.

Was excellent today.

Despite some high profile disasters like the Wolves, Leicester and Arsenal games, he is usually pretty consistent.

One of those funny ones, you see his name on the team sheet at LWB against a pacey winger and naturally, understandably fear the worst, but he usually finds a way to deal with them and prove you wrong.

Great character and pro.

Great performance today. He won every header and even managed to kick a couple of the dirty Leeds players.

Good idea to match Burn up with the nippy and physical Ayling. Burn was good all over the pitch today.

As well as defending well, he put in a superb cross that even Ally McCoist commented on how good it was - I have so much time for him, he gives everything and rarely gets to play in his favoured position

It's very easy to let your heart rule your head with regard to big Dan. Always puts in a shift, great attitude, flexible and comes across a pleasant solid pro. And there's no doubt he had a good game today.

However, he should just remain a squad utility player. He's not consistent enough against the better teams and when's he's poor he's very poor.

He's similar in a way to Solly. When he is good he is very good, but he is prone to mistakes as well. But getting there and against Leeds rarely put a foot wrong. Was a good cross into the box that was missed high and wide as usual.

I’d say he has been a squad utility player this season, he’s started 19 games and come off the bench 4 times, that number of starts would have been lower if it wasn’t for the injuries to March and Webster.

I’m a huge Dan Burn fan, he just gets on with it, no matter where he is asked to play he’ll put a shift in. He’s had a few bad performances this season but more often than not he’s done the job asked of him.

Am no fan but no doubt had a good game yesterday. Not only with headed clearances but some good attacking play. Just because of a good game doesnt take away we need to strengthen this position. He is a liabiity when in a one to one situation when defending. His accuracy with passing and crossing when attacking was good yesterday and something we have been lacking from left side. Even when March was playing he so often hit and hoped when crossing. Agree Burn very good squad player.
