ohh dear, someones in trouble, just got this from out IT dept... NSC is not offensive is it ??
""Disciplinary action has been taken against two individuals for accessing websites that are of a pornographic nature, or contain material that may be considered offensive in contravention of the UK IT Usage policy.
Employees found to have accessed such sites will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal and in certain cases the matter will also be referred to the Police
Employees are reminded that the user is responsible for all actions whilst accessing the IT network and computer systems. If an inappropriate site is accessed by accident you should reported the matter to the IT department.
All employees should make sure they are familiar with the UK IT Usage policy which can be found on the IT website""

Redland - I accidently got on a JApanese porn site as I posted.com in the end, instead of .co.uk (it was for work as well). I wasn't able to get out of the site and our IT boys had to sort my computer out

I used to work for a kids publishing company and we had a CD Rom called the Jolly Postman. There was an accompanying website that the company forgot about for some time and its registration ran out. I worked on the helpdesk and was getting calls from irate parents complaining the jollypostman.com was re-routed to a hardcore porn site.
That was a great day. One father called up and to say thanks as his and his wife had had a wonderful morning.
